This solid silver snail pendant has been been made from the empty shell of a brown and yellow striped banded snail.
The fragile shell structure was taken and cast in solid silver, the delicate fine lines that texture the shell are enhanced from darkening the silver before a final polish.
This snail pendant has a lovely weight and is very tactile to hold, the shell is 1.8cm at the widest point, the link through which the chain passes is over the snail shell entrance.
