Field Poppy Seed Head Ring

Red field poppies are one of my favourite sights in our fields and along our hedgerows, collecting the empty seed heads from the poppies on country walks started the poppy seed head collection.

One of natures most beautiful forms, the beautiful poppy seed head has been cast in solid silver, the stem of the poppy wraps around the finger and twists to create the ring.

These delicate forms retain all the finest details from the original natural seed head, the silver is darkened before a final polish to highlight the structure.

The solid silver poppy seed head is 1cm in length, the ring is handmade in Oxfordshire and carries a Birmingham hallmark.

This ring can be worn on its own or stacked with other twig, leaf or wildlife bands.
