The plant Honesty is also known as the money plant or silver dollar due to its coin shaped seed pods, it's seen as a plant of wealth or good fortune.
The see-through nature of the dried pods that 'hide nothing' has led it to symbolise sincerity, honesty and openness. Lunaria is the Latin name, referencing the moonlike quality of the seed heads.
