Woodland walks collecting fallen sycamore seeds is the starting point for this pendant, once in the studio the sycamore seed has been cast from life and an exact replica created in solid silver.
Every fine vein detail is retained from the original natural form, the sycamore seed is 3cm in length including the stem loop through which the chain passes.
The seed is 1.7cm at its widest point, the solid silver sycamore seed has been darkened before a final polish to highlight the finest details, it has a highly polished back with a Birmingham hallmark.
